The hot spring is of good quality, but it is a strong acidic hot spring and is only suitable for soaking for less than 30 minutes. It is not suitable for frequent soaking. People with sensitive constitutions may feel a stinging sensation after soaking.

I didn't get the white bus so I gave up Lake Akan and stayed at Kawayu Onsen instead. I was surprisingly satisfied. The room was big, the hot spring was strong, and there were old men at the front desk. The only drawback was that dinner was not included. There is a family restaurant called 3355 and a noble cafe next to it, both of which are delicious.
